BOXED SET OF NAPOLEON MEDALS

Two custom fitted trays in a 27x35 cm wooden box constructed like a gilt-edged book. One of the trays contain eight medals, the other two large medals. The spine is decorated with eagles and is inscribed:  NAPOLEON MEDALS

First Tray

PASSAGE OF THE GREAT ST. BERNARD
BATTLE OF MARENGO
NAPOLEON, EMPEROR
NAPOLEON, EMPEROR AND KING
JOSEPHINE, EMPRESS AND QUEEN
MARIE LOUISE, IMPERATRICE

Second Tray
NAPOLEON I
MARRIAGE OF THE EMPEROR NAPOLEON TO MARIE LOUISE IN PARIS

The two large medals in the right tray have a different patina from those in the left tray and are clearly from a different set.  (ex. Dr. Margrave)
